The West Midlands has the highest percentage of women-led businesses outside of London, and yet, access to funding remains a major hurdle. The 51% Club, the region's dedicated community for female founders, has partnered with West Midlands Combined Authority's Investment Readiness team to support more women to scale their businesses.
'Beyond the Bootstraps' is a fully funded eight week programme to help you build your investment strategy, master your financial modelling, and identify and attract investors.
Eligibility
To qualify you must be:
- A female-founded or female-led business with growth potential
- Headquartered and trading in the West Midlands
- A UK registered company
- At Pre-Seed or Seed stage, with an MVP and ideally a pitch deck and forecast
- Actively fundraising, or planning to be within the next 3-6 months
